CLERMONT, Ind. (Sept. 3, 2018) — The field was set for the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle portion of the NHRA Countdown to the Championship by the end of the second round of the Chevrolet Performance US Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis.
Unofficially, Jerry Savoie, Matt Smith, Scotty Pollacheck, Steve Johnson, Angie Smith and Angelle Sampey secured the final berths in the category Countdown bracket.
Hector Arana Sr. started the day in 10th place but lost his first round race and eventually was eliminated.
