Jim Dunn Racing will be sponsored by Oberto Snack’s Cattleman’s Cut Brand during the 2019 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. The widely popular jerky will be the primary sponsor for the team driven by Jim Campbell.
The sponsorship will begin at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, California in February. The wood-grain graphics will bring a new look to the team.
Jim Dunn has been involved in drag racing for more than five decades. Campbell will be piloting the operation’s Funny Car for the third straight year.
“This is our fifth-year in partnership with Oberto Snacks and we are excited for the opportunity to bring a fresh brand to NHRA Drag Racing this season and beyond,” Team Manager Jon Dunn said. “Cattleman’s Cut delivers the most delicious premium steak jerky at a great value and in the NHRA, we deliver the most entertaining race experience on the planet.
“We think it’s a great partnership for our sport.”
Oberto Snacks will continue their partnership in Motorsports that also has included sponsorships in IndyCar, NASCAR, and several NHRA teams, including the Hydroplanes in the 1970s.
“Oberto Snacks has a long history in racing,” Oberto Snacks President and CEO Tom Hernquist said. “And Cattleman’s Cut with the Jim Dunn Funny Car is a perfect match. In 2019, with Cattleman’s Cut, we expect to grow our presence in the sport. Be on the lookout for a special Cattleman’s Cut representative at the tracks this season.”
