Tonglet back with Savoie PSM team

CONCORD, N.C. (April 24, 2018) – NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle team White Alligator Racing announced today that the team has resigned former WAR rider L.E. Tonglet. Tonglet will ride for the team at this weekend’s NGK Spark Plugs Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway.

Steve Johnson, who started the season with the team, will race at the Four-Wide Nationals with an effort put together since he and WAR parted ways after the Gatornationals in March. He was fifth in points after one race.

Tonglet raced for the team in 2017, won six times and finished third in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Countdown standings.

A team press release noted that tuner Tim Kulungian would prep the bikes raced by Tonglet and Jerry Savoie.

The Four-Wide Nationals will be the first race for the PSM teams since the Gatornationals.
