COMMERCE, Ga. (May 3, 2019) — The opening day of the NHRA’s Arby’s Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway has been delayed by rain.
The professional teams have completed their first round of qualifying and Pro Stock Motorcycle teams completed their second session. Andrew Hines leads PSM at 6.856 seconds.
Shawn Langdon topped Funny Car charts in the first session at 3.987 seconds. Jordan Vandergriff led Top Fuel at 3.788 seconds.
The rain stopped the proceedings at about 7:31 pm, Eastern Time.
